Lighting that only a printing company can create 🖨️

POSTER LIGHT was developed by Sakae Mark, a printing company in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture.
They have been looking for ways to enrich life with printed matter.

Using printing technology to replace traditional lighting structures,
the freedom of expression and variation are far greater than with general lighting.
This is "a light that only a printing company can make."

Illustrator unpis 🎨

Born in Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture.
Graduated from Musashino Art University, Department of Basic Design.

Currently active in advertising, books, packaging, murals, and other fields.
Her works are characterized by neutral lines and shapes,
with a slightly undulating, wavy feel.

You are Light 🟡

The name plays on the phrase "You are right,"
changing "You are right" to "You are Light."

The yellow part on the back of the lampshade is printed.
When the light is on, a human face appears inside the lampshade.

Gentle, with unpis' unique, smile-inducing imagery.

▲ When the light is off, it's just an ordinary yellow lamp.

Light of Life 💧

This design views a glass of water
as "a small lamp in our daily lives."

When the light is on, the sun seen through the glass begins to glow,
illuminating the entire room.

The illustration wants to convey that
those ordinary, easily forgotten daily scenes
are actually worth cherishing.

The thickness of a poster, the weight of a thumbtack 📌

The lighting unit weighs only about 50g, and the USB cable is 2m long.
Fix it with two thumbtacks, then attach the poster.
No drilling, no electrician needed, even renters can install it.

💡 Installation Method

1️⃣ Determine the position of the poster light.
Use thumbtacks to secure the lighting unit, aligning the luminous part with the opening on the poster.

2️⃣ Assemble the lampshade.
Insert the lampshade at two points and fold inwards along the creases.

3️⃣ Remove the poster and hook the inserted part of the lampshade into the slot of the poster.

4️⃣ Reattach to the position from step 1.
Before attaching, ensure that the luminous part is visible through the opening.

5️⃣ Connect to a USB power source and press the switch to turn it on.

Pro Tip 💡
Both designs are illustration-first.
Hanging them in daily frequented places like desks, kitchens, or hallways
adds more character than hanging them on the main wall of the living room.

‧ AC adapter not included.
You will need to provide your own USB (Type A) power supply with DC5V / 2A or higher output.

‧ Please confirm your chosen design before placing an order. The two designs are not interchangeable.

‧ Posters are paper products; avoid moisture, creasing, or prolonged direct sunlight.

‧ Installation requires thumbtacks; please confirm if your walls are suitable for nailing if renting.

‧ Slight variations in paper texture and printing may occur, which is normal.

‧ Screen displayed colors may differ from the actual product; please refer to the physical product.
