The Talk of the Town: Sold Out in Three Days at Geisai, Tokyo University of the Arts 🎨

In September 2023, at the "Geisai" (art festival) of Tokyo University of the Arts in Ueno, Tokyo,

a student project by a second-year student in the Craft Department

sold out completely within the three-day exhibition period, followed by enthusiastic pre-orders.

Now, it has finally become an official product.

The Discrepancy Upon Opening is the Key 🫧

The packaging looks exactly like a pack of cigarettes.

But when opened, it reveals a bottle of bubble solution and two cigarette-shaped wands.

Upgraded from 3D Printing to Injection Molding 🔧

The initial version used 3D printing and would wear out after a few uses.

Now, it uses injection molding for a one-piece construction.

The structure is much sturdier, allowing for repeated use with confidence.

💡 Usage Tips

1️⃣ Open the cardboard box, take out the glass bottle of bubble solution and the wands.

2️⃣ Unscrew the cap, dip the tip of the wand into the bubble solution for about two seconds.

3️⃣ Remove the wand, gently blow air as if smoking a cigarette. The lighter the force, the finer and denser the bubbles.

4️⃣ After use, rinse the wands with clean water and wipe dry. Tightly screw the cap back on and store upright.

Pro Tip 💡 Best for photography against backlight or under night lights. Blowing hard will produce large, sparse bubbles. Blowing slowly and continuously will produce a string of dense bubbles, which are more photogenic.
